It was not associated with the threat of irregular heartbeat. The research was published in the American Heart Association`s journal Circulation. The team shared that their findings showed the fact that the levels of thyroid hormone and free thyroxine which are circulating in the blood may be an additional risk factor which can affect the atrial fibrillation. The team believes that the free thyroxine hormone levels may assist to discover the individuals who are at a higher risk.
